THE BRIEF

HypaShip offers end-to-end technology solutions for postal, courier, parcel and logistics businesses across the world. Hypaship wanted to accelerate their growth following additional funding.

Diagnose & ANALYSe

5XR carried out a market audit, benchmarked Hypaship’s competitiveness and potential global opportunities and threats. We evaluated the strategic planning process, targeting of potential segments, resourcing and commercial support for the business.

Suggested ways to turn weaknesses into strengths and to refocus the business on the greatest global opportunities.

STRATEGY

5XR identified B2B markets and recommended additional marketing and sales personnel, commercial support and an advisory board. We advocated a strategic approach to target the best fit growth opportunities.

We suggested an iterative approach involving continual analysis of customer needs, the development of a dynamic strategy, analysis of sales, business metrics, competitor propositions and customer feedback.

Facilitated discussions on: scenario planning, risk analysis, key sales personnel and resourcing.

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS

5XR assisted Hypaship to better understand the needs of the target markets, and the specific needs of the individuals within the decision-making units (DMU).

We discussed messages that could resonate more with different individuals in senior decision-making positions and the features and benefit statements that the business should use to ensure consistency and the development of a stand-out brand identity.   

5XR suggested ways to improve sales collateral: by benchmarking all presentations against the best of the best, developing a shorter first meeting simplified sales pack, then high impact targeted presentations later.

SALES SOLUTIONS

We discussed sales resourcing, sales collateral and training. We suggested sales aids covering the unique selling points and benefit statements along with key steps for identifying leads, managing sales pipelines and improving conversions. 5XR recommended opening offices in major potential markets like Asia with dedicated local Sales personnel.
